ディックブルーナはスケッチをしながら大胆に要素を削ぎ落としシンプルな線だけで表現する。そして15.5センチという四角いフォーマットの12の見開きの中に、4行の言葉に6色しか使わないイラストで表現する。その決まったフォーマットで展開する120冊のストーリー。素晴らしいなぁ。

Dick Bruna had sketched and boldly removed the element and expressed it with only a simple line. And in 12 spreads with a square format of 15.5 centimeters, he expressed it with illustration using only 6 colors for 4 lines of words. 120 stories to expand in the fixed format. It is wonderful.
