ダイヤモンド注意報｜Diamond Warning

いきなりバラバラという音がしたと思ったら、空から氷粒が降ってきた。最初は面白がってスマホで撮影する人も多かったのだけれど、当たると痛い。しばらくすると晴れ間が出てきた。いきなり雹が降ったのでビックリしたのだけれど、これがダイヤモンドだったら面白いかもしれない。スマホで撮影するどころではなく、すぐにカバンを広げて降ってくるダイヤモンドを拾うだろう。天気予報でダイヤモンド注意報のエリアで一攫千金を狙う人も出てきたり、ダイヤモンドが降る踊りをする地方もあるかもしれない。こんな気候変動だったら楽しいだろうなぁ。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）

Suddenly, there was a sound of ice falling from the sky. At first, many people were amused and took pictures with their smartphones, but it was painful when they hit them. After a while, the sky cleared up. I was surprised at the sudden hail, but it would have been interesting if it had been diamonds. Instead of taking pictures with my phone, I would immediately open my bag and pick up the falling diamonds. Some people might get rich in areas with diamond warnings in the weather forecast, and there might even be regions where people do a falling diamond dance.
