大学で環境の研究をしている先生と話をすると、持続可能な社会のために大切なキーワードは循環だという。物質的には炭素・チッ素・リンをいかに循環させるからしい。そういえば経済も循環だと習った記憶があるし、そういう世の中になるといいと思う。しかしこの半世紀は効率重視で消費や使い捨ての時代だった。今後循環が主流の考え方になるには危機感だけでなく、何かワクワクするものが付加されるといいのだろうなぁ。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）
Talking to a professor who studies the environment at university, he says that the important keyword for a sustainable society is circulation. In terms of material, it is because of how carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus are circulated. By the way, I remember learning that the economy is also a cycle, and I hope it will be in such a world. However, this half century has been an era of consumption and disposables with an emphasis on efficiency.
