迂回路｜Detour｜2021/03/19

いつもの打合せにいつものルートで行く。いつもの時間に、いつもの電車で。乗り換えに便利なように、一番先頭車両に乗り込む。いつものようにスマホでニュースをチェックしていると、「車両故障のためにこの電車はこの駅で運行を中止します。振替輸送をご利用ください」とアナウンス。えっ、どうしよう。慌ててグーグルマップでルートを調べるけれど、いつものこのルートしか出てこない。頭の中に路線図を思い浮かべ、急ぎ足と新幹線でなんとか打合せに間に合った。朝からちょっとした頭と身体の体操。なんだかいつもと違うアイデアがでてきそうだ。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）

 I went to the usual meeting by the usual route. At the usual time, on the usual train. I got in the first car so that it was convenient to change trains. When I was checking the news on my smartphone as usual, I heard an announcement that "This train will stop operating at this station due to a vehicle breakdown. Please use transfer transportation." What should I do? I hurriedly looked up the route on Google Maps, but only this usual route came out. I thought of a route map in my head, and managed to make it in time for a meeting with a hurry and the Shinkansen. I got a little head and body exercise from the morning.
