〇〇ちゃんパパ｜〇〇-Chan Papa

ムスメが保育園に行って衝撃だったことがある。誰も「サカキさん」とは呼んでくれないことだ。〇〇ちゃんパパと呼ばれるのだ。小さな園児からも、最初の頃は誰のパパ？と聞かれる。確かに他の園児の下の名前は覚えても苗字は知らないし、保護者の人も苗字で呼ぶことはまずない。そんなことに慣れてくると、苗字って「家」を象徴して、ちょっとなんだかよそいきの感じもする。〇〇ちゃんパパ。園児ひとりひとりが主役という意識がされて、良い呼び方だなぁ。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）

There was a shock when my daughter went to preschool. No one calls me Mr. Sakaki. They call me 〇〇-Chan Papa. Even the little preschoolers ask me, "Whose daddy are you? " It is true that I know the first names of other preschoolers, but I don't know their last names, and their parents also rarely call them by their last names. When I get used to it, the last name symbolizes "home," and it seems a little bit alien. 〇〇-Chan Papa.
