怖い看護婦さん｜Scary Nurse

CTスキャンの検査だと思って気軽に考えていた。両手をあげて輪の中に入るだけだからすぐ終わるなと。看護婦さんが造影剤の注射しますねーと言われ、左右の腕をゴシゴシし始める。なかなか場所が決まらず、手首にすることに。さらに、「思ってるより痛いですよー。」なんて言われ、急に心臓がバクバクし始める。逃げようとすると、もっと痛くなりますよなんて脅され、検査なんてしなきゃよかったと激しく後悔。結局親指を力一杯握りしめてーと言われ、歯も食いしばりながらなんとか耐え、検査が終了した。怖い看護婦さんも必要なんだなぁ。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）

It was a CT scan exam, so I thought about it casually. I thought it would take a short time, just raising my hands and entering the circle. The nurse would inject me with a contrast agent and began rubbing my left and right arms. She couldn't quite decide where to put it, and finally she decided to put it on my wrist. Then I was told, "It hurts more than you thought.", and suddenly my heart started pounding. When I tried to run away, I was threatened that I would be in more pain, and I bitterly regretted that I should not have been tested. I ended up clenching my thumb hard—I was told, which I managed to endure, clenching my teeth, and my examination was finished. I need a scary nurse too. -Text and illustration by Ted Sakaki
