ワンタッチ５万円｜One-Touch ¥50,000

週末に２歳のムスメを連れてポニーを見に行った。明治神宮に隣接する場所に渋谷区の公園があり、５頭のポニーがのびのびしている。ふれあいタイムでは、ポニーに触れたり、ブラシをかけることができる。子どもたちが嬉しそうにポニーと遊んでいる。ムスメも最初こそ怖がったものの徐々に慣れ、最後はポニーが迷惑なくらいブラシをかけた。地価の高い場所だけに、近隣はマンションが建ち並んでいる。収益を生まない子どもの遊び場は存在しづらいのだろう。今日は無料で遊べたけれど、ワンタッチ５万円になる日も近いかもしれない。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）

I took my 2 year old daughter to see ponies over the weekend. There is a park in Shibuya-ku next to Meiji Jingu Shrine, where five ponies are roaming. During petting time, we can touch and brush the ponies. Children are happily playing with ponies. My daughter was also scared at first, but gradually got used to them, and in the end she brushed the pony so much that it annoyed her. Because of the high land price, the neighborhood is lined with condominiums. It would be difficult to have a playground for children that does not generate revenue. I was able to play for free today, but the day may soon be 50,000 yen for one touch. -Text and illustration by Ted Sakaki
