Fire Prevention Manager Course

The two-day fire prevention and disaster prevention manager course has ended. From 9:00 to 5:00 for two days, about 100 people are stuck in the venue at a small desk with a monitor and a partition to prevent infection. Moreover, the strict prohibition of smartphones. I attended while thinking that it would be nice to be online in this era. I thought I was doing something else, but listening to the lecturers was surprisingly interesting. Beginning with the mechanism of fire and how to prevent it, it explains the changes in laws and ordinances due to fires, as well as specific fire extinguishing and inspection methods, using videos. Fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, sprinklers, etc. are explained using actual things, and we can actually try using triangular bandages. What left the biggest impression on me was that it is important to protect our lives by ourselves, and the course was meaningful in an age when people tend to leave things up to others. Immediately I checked the office's digestive system and eliminated the octopus foot power supply at home. I wonder how long this consciousness will last. -Text and illustration by Ted Sakaki
