もともと不動産業にいたからかもしれないけれど、建物を鳥瞰的に見てしまう。30階建てのビルのパースを見てデザインが云々と。でも鳥でも無い限りそんな視線で見ることはほとんどない。いちばん大切なのは、ヒューマンスケールの目線で見た時の印象。その素材感や移動した時の見え方。そして足元の素材による感覚。全体像からディテイルという方向での設計ではなく、ヒューマンスケールから全体という方向で考えてみよう。

It may be because I was originally in the real estate industry,  I usually look at the plan of building in a bird's-eye view. Looking at Perth in a 30-story building, we say the design is good, or something... However, as far as it is a bird, we have little chance to see with such a gaze. The most important thing is the impression of looking at the human scale's eyes. Its texture and how it looks when moved. And feeling by foot material. Let's think in the direction from the human scale to the whole, instead of thinking from the whole image to the detail.
