2040年の東京｜Tokyo in 2040

大学の授業で2040年の東京の姿を妄想してもらった。キーワードをたてて、その雰囲気を色紙、セロファンなどを使って自由に画用紙に表現する。緑あふれる街になるというものが多い中で、臭い東京に巨大な消臭リ木を作る、2階建の鉄道を倍のスピードで走らせる、既存の超高層ビルを空中でつなげてより立体的な街づくりするなど様々なアイデアがあり、どの案も未来に希望が感じられるものだ。未来への悲観論も多い中で、これらの妄想が潰されずにより活性化する世の中になるといいなぁ。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）

In my university class, I asked them to fantasize about what Tokyo would look like in 2040. They created a keyword and freely expressed the atmosphere on drawing paper using colored paper, cellophane, etc. While there were many things that made the city full of greenery, there were ideas such as creating a huge deodorizing tree in stinking Tokyo, running a two-story railway at twice the speed, connecting existing skyscrapers in the air to make it more three-dimensional. All of them offer hope for the future. With so much pessimism about the future, it would be great if we could live in a world where these delusions are not crushed and become more active. -Text and illustration by Ted Sakaki
