褒め殺し|Praise to Kill

自社の製品やサービスを提供することによって、称賛の声が寄せられているような状況はとても理想的だ。顧客も満足し、それを提供する側も嬉しい。しかしある経営者と話をしていたら、そのようなシチュエーションはとても危険だという。社内に安心感やこれでいいというムードが定着してしまい、新しいものを生み出しにくくなるという。逆に顧客からクレームや、リクエストが多く寄せられる方が現場での改善が進み、そこからの新規開発もあるらしい。褒められる環境はとても心地よいけれど、長期で見ると緊張感ある改善を生む土壌も大切なんだなぁ。(絵と文:サカキテツ朗)2022/08/24
It's an ideal situation to be receiving accolades for my products and services. The customer is satisfied, and the side that provides it is also happy. However, when I spoke with an executive, he said that such a situation is very dangerous. A sense of stability and the mood that this is good enough will take hold within the company, making it difficult to create new things. On the contrary, the more complaints and requests from customers, the better the improvement at the site, and it seems that there is also a new development from there.
