What Only I Can do|2022/06/15

The work of architectural design is interesting. Designers listen to the client's intentions and shape them. Moreover, while ensuring safety and functionality, they will also consider the relationship with the city and the future. Of course, they also have their own ideals and personality. In my university class yesterday, we had the designer guest and talked to him. “What will you do if the client's request deviates from your ideal?” “I will explain it so that it will be convincing, and I will have him actually experience it together.” “ What will you do if the client complains about a difficult task?” “The more difficult the request, the more I get motivated. I think that I am the only person who can increase the satisfaction of clients and give shape to it.” Ah, I need to change my mind that I feel troublesome when clients request more and more. -Text and illustration by Ted Sakaki
