囲炉裏のある家｜House with Fireplace｜2022/01/11

葉山にある古民家に泊まった。土間にキッチンと囲炉裏、薪ストーブがあり、和室が２つというつくりだ。デザイン系古民家というジャンルの家というよりはキャンプの延長という楽しみができる。冬の寒い時は外でバーベキューは辛いけれど、囲炉裏は暖かい室内で思う存分炙りができる。近くの肉屋で葉山牛のカタマリを、魚屋で金目鯛の干物を入手。日本酒をのみながらじっくりと炭で炙る。食後は薪ストーブで薪をくべながら仕上げのウィスキーを堪能。ホテルや旅館でもできない楽しみ。囲炉裏のある家って素敵だなぁ。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）

 I stayed at an old folk house in Hayama. There is a kitchen, a fireplace, and a wood-burning stove on the floor, and there are two Japanese-style rooms. I can enjoy the extension of the camp rather than the genre of old design houses. It is too cold in winter to enjoy a barbecue outside, but the fireplace can be roasted in a warm room. I got Hayama beef block at a nearby butcher shop and got dried fish at a fish shop. I slowly roasted them with charcoal while drinking sake. After eating, I enjoyed whiskey while putting wood on the wood stove. It was a style of fun that can not be done at hotels and inns.
