会議の前後｜Before and After the Meeting｜2021/07/06

曽野綾子さんと吉村作治さん対談の本の中で国際会議でのシーンの話が興味深かった。会議前後に各国とも立ち話や雑談を盛んに行うという。そこで相手の国の立場や意見の裏表を読むという。しかし日本人はそういう相手を見極める雑談が苦手で、会議の表の部分だけに臨むことが多いらしい。昔、会社の会議前後で立ち話や雑談がよく行われ、会議の流れが変わることもよくあった。それは日本人の得意技と思っていたけど、国際レベルではまだまだなのかもしれない。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）
The story of the scene at the international conference was interesting in the book of the dialogue between Ayako Sono and Sakuji Yoshimura. Before and after the meeting, it is said that there was active talks and chats with each country. They read the inside and outside of the other country's position and opinions. However, Japanese people are not good at chatting to identify such people, and it seems that they often only face the front part of the meeting. In the old days, standing talks and chats were often held before and after company meetings, and the flow of meetings often changed.
