Flight Boon|2021/06/21

My daughter starts flight boon. She stretches her hands to the side and lifts her feet up. She lasts for about 20 seconds, and when I praise her for being amazing, she proudly repeats it many times. I am stupid for her and proud of her sharpness. But what on earth is she doing? She doesn’t learn somewhere, she doesn't imitate us. (It's impossible for my stiff body to do) Since I have similar pictures when I was little, it may be a timeless movement. Is this a human instinct? Is the human predecessor a bird? I think about it, but when I grow up I don't remember that. Even if I ask her, she answers only uh. Oh, I want to know more and more. -Text and illustration by Ted Sakaki
