Japanese Sweets in Valentine’s Day|2021/02/14

I wanted to eat cake, so I went to the basement of Isetan in Shinjuku. Every store has a long line in front of the shop staff with the sign that says "last". Yes, it's Valentine's Day. It was crowded with no relation to the state of emergency. When I thought it would be good to give up on the cake, I found "Mont Blanc Suzaku"! It's usually sold out quickly, but it seems that it could escape from the crowd of Valentine's Day at the Japanese sweets corner. Among the famous sweets of Mont Blanc, Mont Blanc Suzaku is one of the most famous. I satisfied with the unexpected harvest. -Text and illustration by Ted Sakaki
