強いユニフォーム｜Strong Uniform｜2021/01/15

プロスポーツだと個人の力量が左右することが多いけれど、高校スポーツでは個人よりもチーム力の方が影響することが多いらしい。その時にどんなユニフォームなのかということが勝敗を決めるという。そう分析する学生が実際に高校バレーや高校野球の強豪のユニフォームを見せてくれる。曲線のラインが身体のしなやかさを意識させたり、爽やかなグリーンの色が失敗を後にひかなかったり、高校名が漢字縦書きで歴史や伝統を感じさせると解説は続く。ユニフォームの形状も大切らしく、袖口の締まりが鍛え上げた筋肉を強調して相手チームを威圧する効果もあるらしい。なるほど、その解説を聞くとユニフォームのデザインは勝敗を左右するほど重要なカギなんだと思えてきた。強いユニフォーム、そういう視点で次回は見てみよう。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）
