正月におせちを食べることはあまりなかった。家にいることが少なかったし、毎日同じ冷えた食べ物を食べるなんてとつまらないなぁ思っていたからだ。今年はムスメが小さいのでお正月は家で過ごすことにした。近所のスーパーもお休みなのでおせちを頼んだ。荒木町の和食屋さんのものと福岡の割烹のものだ。どちらも一つ一つ丁寧につくられていて、見た目も綺麗。シャンパン、ワインにお酒2種類を合わせる。だんだん正月気分になってきて、ダラダラと食べて飲んで、食べて飲んで。結局あっという間に食べ尽くしてしまった。正月のステイホームも悪くない。来年はこたつで日替わりおせちだな。(絵と文:サカキテツ朗)
I didn't eat Osechi, which is New Year dishes very often on New Year's Day. Because I wasn't at home, and I thought it would be boring to eat the same cold food every day. This year I decided to spend New Year's at home because my daughter was just born. The supermarket in the neighborhood will be closed, so I ordered Osechi. They are from a Japanese restaurant in Arakicho and from a Japanese restaurant in Fukuoka. Both are carefully made one by one and look beautiful. I combined two types of sake, champagne and wine with dishes. Gradually I feel like New Year, I ate and drank, ate and drank. After all, I ate up in no time. New Year's stay home is not bad either.
