未来をつくる｜Creating the Future｜2021/01/01

ボクの好きな言葉にThe best way to predict the future is to invent it. （未来を予測する最善な方法はそれを生み出すこと）というのがある。未来は勝手にやってくるわけではない。今の瞬間に地球上の誰かが考えた未来がやってくる。パソコンやiPhoneも未来を考えて作った人がいるから、現代の生活に欠かせないものになった。2021年はコロナの影響もあり、さらに未来が見えないとか、変化が激しいという年になりそうだけど、そんな今だからこそ、自ら未来を描き生み出したい。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗） 

One of my favorite words is "The best way to predict the future is to invent it". The future does not come on its own. At this moment, the future that someone on the earth thought about will come. Some people made personal computers and iPhones with the future in mind, so they have become indispensable to modern life. Due to the influence of Corona, 2021 is likely to be a year in which the future cannot be seen or changes are drastic, but that is why I want to draw and create the future myself. -Text and illustration by Ted Sakaki
