街にインクルージョン｜Inclusion in the City｜ 2020/10/17

大学の授業のためにインクル丸の内を取材した。障害者雇用のサポートオフィスとして２年前に開設された施設だ。街づくりといえばビジネスや商業施設でいかに売上を上げるかということが注目されやすいが、最近ではダイバーシティやインクルージョンということも大切になってきてる。しかし単に言葉だけだとイメージが湧きにくいれど、こういった実態があると理解しやすい。いずれ言葉を意識せずに当たり前になる時代がくるのだろうが、こういう地道な取り組みがとても重要なんだと思う。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）
I interviewed Inkle Marunouchi for a university class. The facility was opened two years ago as a support office for employment of persons with disabilities. When we discuss about urban development, it is tend to focus on how to increase sales in business and commercial facilities, but recently diversity and inclusion have also become important. However, it is difficult to get an image with just words, and it is easy to understand if there is such a reality. The time will come when it will become commonplace without being aware of words, but I think that such steady efforts are very important. -Text and illustration by Ted Sakaki
